This is a great drink to bring to a friend's house and seems so much more personal than just a bottle of wine. Drink responsibly though - it's strong!
Ingredients:
450g strawberries150g caster sugar
700ml gin
method:
- For a stunning festive tipple in just three days, crush the strawberries with a fork or potato masher and spoon into a large, clean wide-necked glass bottle.
- Add the caster sugar and gin, seal and shake gently to mix. Leave at room temperature for three days, shaking gently twice a day, then strain, decant and decorate.
